Peter Mulholland has over 17 years experience in the financial services industry and 15 years as an Investment Advisor representative working with high net worth individual investors, corporate clients and not-for-profit institutions. His passion for the financial services business started with Boston based Fidelity Investments in 1992 and as a mutual fund sales representative; Peter quickly learned the skills of assessing customer needs and objectives to match with them with appropriate Fidelity Investment products. In 1993 Peter joined Fidelity’s Portfolio Advisory Services division, which over 15 years, has grown total assets from $300 million to over $30 billion.
Peter worked in close contact with the investment management team constantly reviewing monetary and fiscal policy, market valuation and investor sentiment and advised and managed a diverse group of accounts that grew to over 400 customers by 2008. He built long lasting relationships and trust with his clients and was awarded Success and Achievement Awards in 2007 and 2008 for his contributions.
Peter is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds the NASD licenses 7, 65 and 65. Peter is a North Shore native and lives with his wife Elizabeth and their two sons on their family farm in Topsfield.
Brian A. Woodland, Principal brian@pxwealth.com
Brian has 16 years of investment management experience. He has specialized in managing portfolios for individuals and small institutions during his career. He also has worked closely with trading desks, research analysts, and buyside portfolio managers at different firms during his career.
Brian joined Cowen & Company in 1996, as a Vice President in the Private Client Group, working with small institutions and private clients. Cowen was widely recognized for its research excellence, specifically in the areas of Technology and Healthcare. In 1999, Cowen & Company was acquired by Societe Generale.
Brian joined Salomon Smith Barney as a Senior Vice President of Investments in Boston, Ma in 2000. Mr. Woodland managed portfolios for individuals, small institutions, and advised small institutional clients of the firm. Brian was certified as a Financial Planning Specialist for the firm in 2003. Brian left Smith Barney to start Woodland Asset Management in 2006, where he currently manages portfolios for private clients and small institutions. Brian renamed his firm Phalanx Wealth Management in conjunction with passing the Series 24 Exam and establishing his own brokerage firm called Phalanx Trading in 2008. Brian is the President and a Principal of Phalanx Trading LLC.
Brian is registered with the NASD having earned the following licenses: Series 24, 7, 8, 22, 63, and 65.
